Parquet Flooring Projects
Here we have laid Solid Oak Prime Unfinished blocks in Herringbone Parquet design throughout a ground floor of a house. Once the blocks had been laid they were sanded to create a smooth even level ready to be sealed. We then sealed the floor with one coat of High Traffic seal and allowed to dry.
After the seal has dried we then buff the entire floor removing any uneven areas in the seal. As you can see from the pictures below once the flooring has been buffed it leaves tiny particles on the flooring which will then be vacuumed to leave a completely clean smooth floor ready for the second seal.
Once we have ensured the floor is completely clean and free from dust we then apply the second High Traffic seal.
After the final coat of seal has dried the flooring is complete. The floor is beautifully hand crafted, filled with intricate detail. The finish on the floor is a smooth, soft shine which is a strong seal to protect the floor and preserve it’s life span. It is now ready to enjoy.
